Kat (Mazen Photography's owner) has worked for me on several separate occasions, most recently at a family memorial service but before for my engagement photos. Kat is an amazing photographer and even managed to get my beautiful wife out of her normally self-conscious shell for some unbelievable photos. Kat's skills extend beyond small-group settings, though - she gracefully corralled my gigantic family for photos following a memorial service and got great pictures taken in short order without any frustration or shouting. (With my family, that's an accomplishment in and of itself.) In addition to her skills with the camera, Kat has developed her craft as a digital photographer, so her abilities in editing are stellar - if you're used to working with someone who originally trained as a film photographer and has converted, you're missing out; if you're used to working with someone who isn't Kat...well, you're missing out there, too.

Mazen Photography (Kat) did our wedding a few weeks ago. Kat is enthusiastic, personable, efficient, and an amazingly talented artist. She interacted with all the guests with ease, and got such beautiful shots that I couldn't have even imagined. With Kat, you're not just getting someone who can light a shot and take an in-focus shot (which of course she does perfectly), but a someone who can also capture those perfect little moments throughout the day, and transform them into a work of art and a beautiful memento of a wonderful day. You will not find a better wedding (or event) photographer out there.

The pictures were beautiful, my kids personalities were captured perfectly! I was impressed by the tips Kat was able to give on how I should hold myself and to see it work in pictures (I suddenly lost ten pounds) was wonderful. The price was extremely reasonable especially considering she came to the house to take the pictures! My kids loved her and enjoyed having their picture taken for the first time ever. I was very excited I was not required to buy a package with only a few pictures, I was able to take the CD and get what I wanted, she even had tips for me on how to purchase.  I would use Mazen Photography again in a second!
